LANCASTER - Thomas F. Thompson, 73, of Summer Street, died February 10, 2022 at the UVM Medical Center, Burlington.
Mr. Thompson was born in Manchester, NH, on October 16, 1948, the son of Thomas F. Thompson Sr. and Madeline (Hogan) Thompson. During the earlier years of his life, he resided in the Manchester area. He served in the Vietnam War with the US Marine Corp and was honorarily discharged as a Corporal in 1970. In 1971 he married Carol J. Roukey and they moved to the North Country in 1982.
Tom was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and the Paralyzed Veterans of America. In his younger days he excelled at drawing and enjoyed building models.
Surviving family members include his wife Carol J. Thompson of Lancaster and his sisters Tina Coruth of Weare, NH, Sarah Bellerive, Tara Thompson and Kathy Thompson all of Florida. He was predeceased by his parents and a brother James Thompson.
A graveside service with military honors will be held Wednesday, May 18th at 2:00 PM in the Summer Street Cemetery, Lancaster.
