Timothy G. White Sr.

April 25, 1947 — April 27, 2012

LANCASTER - Timothy G. White Sr., 65, died Friday morning April 27, 2012, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon.

Mr. White was born in Lancaster, NH, on April 25, 1947, the son of Maynard and Geneve (Smith) White.

He was a graduate of Lancaster High School and Berlin Technical Institute where he earned his degree as an electrician.  After completing his journeyman with Fitzmorris Plumbing and Heating, Whitefield, he started on his own business and operated White's Electric for 40 years.

Tim was an avid hunter and trapper.  He also enjoyed woodworking and playing horseshoe with the VFW Horseshoe League in Lancaster.  At one time he raced snowmobiles for Timberland Machine and Roberts Motor Sales.

He was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association and member of the National Elk Foundation.

Family members include his wife Verna M. (Smith) White of Lancaster; two sons, Timothy G. White Jr. and his wife Brigitte of Whitefield, Robert M. White and his wife Mandy of Barre Town, VT; a daughter Danielle E. King and her husband Curtis of Rutland, VT; a brother, Durwood White of Fremont, NY; 5 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by an infant daughter Kristal.

Visiting hours will be held Monday afternoon and evening, April 30, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home, Lancaster.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday morning at 11:00 AM, at All Saints Church, Lancaster.  Reverend John MacKenzie, pastor, will officiate.  Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lancaster.

Donations in lieu of flowers may be made in his memory to the Norris Cotton Cancer Center, One Medical Center Drive, Lebanon, NH  03756.
