NORTHFIELD, VT - It is with a heavy heart we announce that Tina passed away on Easter morning after a courageous 3-year battle with cancer.
Tina grew up in the town of Granby. Where she attended a one-room schoolhouse with mostly cousins through the sixth grade. That is where she started her journey in getting her second-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Her Tae Kwon Do family was a huge part of her life growing up. She spent many summers at Lake Willoughby for summer camp. This last summer her sister Lisa took her back up to Lake Willoughby so she could reminisce.
From the one-room schoolhouse, she went to Concord High School, graduating in the Class of 1997. Where you would find her on the soccer field. She was an aggressive soccer player. Always putting 110%.
After graduating, Tina worked as a waitress in Concord at what is now known as the Mooselook Diner. This is where she met her first husband John Stewart Jr. They moved to Illinois where they had their firstborn son, Cole. After a few years, she made her final move back to Vermont to be closer to her family. She and John had two more sons, Evan and Gunner. They settled down in Lunenburg, VT. She worked at several convenience stores in the Littleton NH area, but for many years she was a stay-at-home mom. She then found her calling as a liquid load builder at Irving Energy where she excelled for many years until her health deteriorated and she was no longer able to do it.
Irving Energy is where she met her Best Friend and husband Chris Wood. Together Tina and Chris had a little girl, Raelee Anne Wood. They then were married on July 13, 2019, and united their two families together. Tina now had two stepsons, Graelen and Abram Wood. All thou they only spent time here on vacations. Tina loved them as her own.
Tina loved animals of all kinds. She always had a house full. She was especially fond of her Boxers and her little Pug, Ada, as well as her Chug, Bella.
Her children were her life. Tina put everything into her family. She was an amazing mother and wife. She was an honest and caring sister, an energetic loving Aunt, and a feisty adoring daughter. She loved spending weekends on Cow Island at Lake Winnipesaukee and sunset boat cruises with friends. Vacations with her family at Old Orchard Beach were cherished by her. Last summer there was a family trip to OOB so her little girl could see the ocean for the first time.
She loved spending time watching the Red Sox and Canadiens games with her husband and daughter.
Tina is survived by her husband, Chris Wood from Northfield; her parents Cindy and Leonard Bilodeau of Granby; her sister, Lisa Ware and husband Will of East Burke; her grandmother, Pauline Bilodeau of Lunenberg; three sons, Cole Stewart, and Evan Stewart and Gunnar Stewart and a daughter Raelee Wood. Stepsons Graelen Wood and Abram Wood of Cannada and a Stepdaughter Shelby Stewart of IL. She also had many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins. Tina is predeceased by her brother, Timothy Bilodeau of Granby.
Tina will be missed by many.
