Tyler James Leighton, 32, of Groveton, NH, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 10th in Manchester.
Tyler lived a life of challenges. He was born blind in one eye, he struggled with learning disorders, and he wrestled with his sobriety. Those are all things Tyler FACED, but that is not who he WAS.
Tyler was a blue eyed, beautiful dreamer. As a father, a son, a brother, a Godson, a nephew, an uncle, a cousin and a friend he loved his people BIG. Ty was funny, kind and sweet. He hated injustice and fought against it valiantly. When the sunshine that Ty touched your life, you remembered it.
Tyler was born in Nashua and lived most of his life in Groveton. He attended school first in Groveton, the Charter Academy and then Stratford; graduating from there in 2010.
He worked for Pike, Asplundh and landscaping companies.
Tyler leaves behind his parents, James and Jay-Anne Leighton, his sons Robert and Chase Leighton all of Groveton, his daughter Sophia from Stark; his sister Trista-Anne Leighton and nephew Anderson of Whitefield; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Tyler was predeceased by his wife, Brenda Leighton, his grandparents, Mike and Sally Morris and Bob and Gloria Leighton.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Sunday, July 19th at Stone Acre Farm, 79 Lost Nation Road, Lancaster, New Hampshire. In lieu of flowers, donations could be made directly to Bailey Funeral home to help defer the unexpected funeral costs.
