LUNENBURG, VT- Walter A. Plant Jr., 42, died unexpectedly in his sleep, on Saturday morning, December 4, 2010 at his home.
Mr. Plant was born on April 4, 1968 in Littleton a son of Walter and Jewel (Ceeley) Plant Sr.
Walter was raised in Littleton and attended school there. For a time he worked in the woods with his father and also worked for several years as a farmer for the Howard Farm and the Nelson Farm.
He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and camping. He also enjoyed his pet snakes, iguana and dogs and especially spending time with his nephews.
Family members include his father Walter of Monroe and his mother Jewel and her husband Elmer Paquette Sr. of Littleton, his wife Arlene (Allen) Plant of Canterbury, CT, his longtime companion Tammy Crawford of Lunenburg, seven children, Nathan, Amanda, Kari, Eric, Christian, Brent and Shy-Anna, two brothers, Herbie Plant of Littleton and Elmer Paquette Jr., two sisters Judy Hopkins of Littleton and Frances Ovalton of Whitefield and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial visiting hour will be held Friday December 10
th
from 5 to 6 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home, Lancaster. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
