Whitefield- On Saturday, July 27, 2013 Wayne Albert Lufkin passed away at Darthmouth-Hitchock from kidney and other complications. He leaves his widow, Joan Lufkin of Whitefield, NH, his daughter Shawna Marie Lufkin Wyman and his son-in-law, John E. Wyman of Sterling, MA. Wayne was born In Carroll, NH and graduated from MCIntyre High, Whitefield.
He and his wife lived in Sterling, MA 40 years and returned to Whitefield in 2003 to retire because of his love of NH, and Whitefield. He loved the wildlife and enjoyed living here. His hobby was his antique cars and he participated in many cruises and shows.
In addition to his wife, he leaves nephews Bernard Bean, Brad Lufkin, John Gooden of Whitefield, David Lufkin of Vermont, and Danny Lufkin of Lancaster, NH, and neice Brenda, Lewiston, ME. He also leaves his sisters-in-law, Lorraine Fogg, Seabrook, NH,
Regina Preston, Jacqueline Jones, South Lancaster, MA, Carole Laperriere Gardner, MA, Andrea Arroyo, Florida, and several cousins in the Whitefield area.
A funeral will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at 11 AM at Bailey Funeral Home in Lancaster with Reverend Dean Stiles officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to ADRA International
