Wayne A. Sterling, Sr.

Wayne A. Sterling Sr., 78, of East Concord. Vermont passed away peacefully on July 11th, 2024 with his three sons and brother. He was born on September 9th,1945 to Arthur & Harriet Sterling in Concord, Later, he would graduate from Concord High School.

After High School, Wayne proudly served his nation in Vietnam. Upon returning to the States, he became a truck driver for many years. He loved being part of The Combat Vets Association as well as the American Legion.

Surviving Wayne are four sons, Chad (Nancy Goodwin), Wayne (Theresa) and Kresten (Bobbie Lepine) Sterling; and Eric (Carol) Moore as well as a brother Rick Sterling. He leaves behind nine grandchildren, Chris Bohan; Elisabeth Gober; Kathryn Sterling; Jadan Sterling; Jasper Sterling; Jacoy Sterling, Jazibel Sterling; Dakota Marten; Ryan Moore; Erica Moore; and Ellen Moore.

A Graveside Service will take place at 11am on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Overlook Cemetery in East Concord. He will receive military honors and be escorted by the Patriot Riders of Vermont for his last ride.
