GUILDHALL, VT - William L. Berry, 48, of Fellows Road, died peacefully at his home Tuesday morning July 9, 2013 surrounded by his wife and family.
Mr. Berry was born in Augusta, Maine on November 28, 1964 the son of Harold E. and Nancy L. (Bean) Berry.
In the late 70's he moved with his family to Lancaster and attended White Mountain Regional High School.
Eventually moving to Guildhall he built his own home from the land he cleared there.
Will was a self employed logger who enjoyed the outdoors.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, jeeping, four wheeling and gardening, sharing his harvest with friends and family.
Other favorite pastimes were going to camp in Maine, creating rock gardens at his homestead, grilling for family get-togethers, sitting around his burn pit with family and friends, competing in the dart league and spending all his time with his best friend Axle.
Fall was Wills favorite time of year.
Family members include his wife Lynn R. (Fontaine) Berry of Guildhall; a son Eric Berry of Lunenburg; a step-son Charlie Burt of Lunenburg; his mother Nancy of Lancaster; a granddaughter Dazie Berry; a brother Andy Berry and wife Lori of Guildhall; two sisters Carol (Berry) Stickney and husband David of Lancaster, Lorie (Berry) Sullivan and husband Kevin of Lancaster; and several nieces and nephews. His father predeceased him in 1995
Memorial visiting hours will be held Thursday evening July 18 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Lancaster Congregational United Church of Christ, Lancaster, NH.
A memorial service will be held there Friday morning at 11:00 AM.
Reverend Albert York of Maine will officiate. Following the service there will be a Celebration of Life at Will's home in Guildhall.
