DALTON - William C. Bolduc, 71, of Faraway Road, died at his home Thursday morning February 13, 2014.
Mr. Bolduc was born in Concord, NH on April 2, 1942 the son of Ernest J. and Corinne (Miner) Bolduc.
Raised in Concord, NH he attended Concord High School and later served in the US Army with the 82
nd
Airborne Infantry. During his lifetime he has worked as a self employed logger, a loom mechanic at the Stevens Woolen Mill, Franklin, NH and for 10 years was a houseman at the Mount Washington Resort.
Bill loved outdoor activities that included hunting, fishing, and hiking. From his time in the military he attained a passion for sky diving that carried over to his personal life. He also enjoyed spending quality time with his children and grandchildren.
Family members include his wife Joan Overton of Dalton; his children, Jason Overton of Dalton, Joshua Overton of Jefferson, Japheth Bolduc of Lancaster, Joseph Bolduc and his wife Karen of Dalton, Scott Bureau of Center Harbor, NH, Lori Bolduc of Concord, NH,, Billy Bolduc of Concord, NH; 13 grandchildren; a brother Richard Bolduc of Clay City, Kentucky; a sister Linda Hawkins of Webster, NH and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Ernest J. Bolduc Jr. and a sister Margie Taylor.
There are no visiting hours. A memorial gathering will be held Sunday afternoon, February 16, at 2:00 PM at the Dalton Congregational Church, Route 135, Dalton, NH. Pastor Diane Raymond will officiate. Burial will be held at a later date.
